or Day of Atonement.

People pray to god both in preparation for

Ramadan and for the forgiveness of

the sins committed by them.

The pageant is also referred to as Boraks Night.

Shab-E-Baraat Par Hazrat Ali ka aamal :-

Hazrat Ali k mutaliq hai k wo or is raat main baar baar ghar se bahar nikal kar aasman ki taraf nigah utha kar dekhte or phir farmate k Hazrat Dawood Alaih Salam bhi is raat main asse hi baar baar bahar nikal kar aasman ki taraf dekha karte the or farmaya karte the..

"yeh aisi gahri (time) hai ka jo is main ALLAH TA'ALA se dua mangta hai, ALLAH TA'ALA isse qabool farmata hai.

Shab-E-Baraat ki kuch khuosiyaat:

Ghroob-e-aftab k baad se tulo-e-subah sadik tak haq allah ke khusosi tajaliyaat aur anwaar ki musalsal barish or aasmani duniya ki taraf ALLAH TA'ALA ka nuzool.

ALLAH TA'ALA ki Apne bando per khusosi rehmat or sari raat farishtoon k zarye gunnahgaroon ki talb-e-magfirat, bimaroon ko talb-e-aafiyat-o-sehat, hajat mandoon ko apni hajat poori hone k liye dua mangne ki dawat.

Bimaroon, gunahgaroon aur hajatmandoon waghera ke liye qabooliyat-e-edua ki bishrat.

Gunnahgaroon ko apne gunnahoon se sachi toba karne per Janat ki basharat aur dozakh se nijat ka parwana.

Aik saal k ander marne wale, paida hone wale, Hajj karne wale logon k mutaliq faisla farishtoon k sapurd kar diya jata hai.

Shab-E-Barat ( 15th Shaban ) k rozay ka hukum :-

15 Shabaan ka roza farz ya wajib nahi, balke nafli hai, magar is ka bara Agar-O-Sawab hai.

Hazrat Ali se riwayat hai k Aap (SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM) ne irshad farmaya:

"Jab Shaban ki pandhriwin raat aaye to is raat ko qayam karo aur din ka roza rakho.

Shab-E-Baraat main Qabristaan jane ka hukum:-

Hazrat Muhammad (SALLALLAHU ALAIHI WASALLAM) SE Shab-E-Baraat main qabristaan jan sabit hai, lekin wo bhi bilkul akele khamoshi se, is mokay per qabristan main mahez ghumne phirne k liye jana, mela lagana ya khilaf-shara koi kaam karna munasib nahi.

Is raat kin aamwar se bachna zaroori hai?

Shab-E-Baraat jo k bari fazilat wali raat hai, is main aksar hazraat la-ilmi main kharafat k martkab hote hain, khususan bache baroon ki sarparasti main aatish bazi karte hain, yeh bohat bara gunnah hai, Khususan dusroon takleef de kar khush hona issi tarahan paisoon ka zaya karna jo k israf hai aur Quran main assay logon ko Shetan ka bhai kaha hai. Is tarhan baz log toliyon ki surat main gup shup karte hain, ghibat aur gunnah k martakab hote hain, is se bachna bhi bohat zaroori hai.

Baz Hazraat raat teen (3), char (4) baje tak jagte hain phir so jate hain aur Fajar ki namaz nahi parhte, yeh bhi sakth gunnah hai. Hadees main hai k ager banda Isha ki namaz jamat se parhe aur Fajar ki namaz parhe aur darmiyan main koi gunnah ka kaam na kare aur so jaye to is ki sari raat ibadat main shumar hoti hai.

Aaye is mubrak raat main ehad (wada) karein k aainda koi gunnah ka kaam na kareinge, kisi ki haqtallfi na kareinge, apni zaat se bhaliye aur deen ka kaam kareinge aur is raat main hasb-e-istata'at, Tilawat, Zikar-o-Aazkar, Salat-ul-tasbeh aur nawafil waghera ka ahtamam kareinge aur saath hi umat-e-muslima k liye khusisi dua'ein karein k Allah ki rehmat hamari taraf mutawaja aur aaj musalaman jis mushkil surat-e-haal se do char hain is khatama ho (Aameen).

The hadith is narrated by Hazrat Ali (RA) in which Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said about 15th of Shaban in these words:

“When it is the fifteenth of Shaban, then stand (in worship) at night and fast during the day. Because Allah descends in this night at sunset to the first heaven and says: ‘Is there any seeker of forgiveness, that I may forgive him? Is there any seeker of sustenance, that I may sustain him? Is there anyone in affliction, that I may remove his affliction? Is there anyone like this, like that (and so on)’. This continues until Fajr.” (Ibn Majah)

In another hadith, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said:

“In the fifteenth night of Shaban, Allah manifests and forgives all His creation except for the Mushrik (idolater) and the spiteful.” (Ibn Majah)

The Mother of believers Hazrat Aisha (RA) reported:

“The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: ‘On the middle night of Shaban (that is, Shab-e-Barat), Allah most high descends to the lowest heaven and remits more sins than the hair of the goats of Banu Kalb.’” (Tirmidhi)

Hazrat Aisha (RA) also narrated that,

“I missed Allah’s Messenger during the night and found Him in al-Baqui’. He (PBUH) said: Were you afraid that Allah and His Messenger would deal unjustly with you? I said: Allah’s Messenger, I thought that you had gone to some of your other wives. He (SAW) said: Verily Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, comes down to the heaven of the world in “the middle night of Shaban” and forgives sins even more abundant than the hair of the goats of Kalb.” (Tirmidhi)

The full month of Shaban is very important. The importance of this month is evident from the tradition narrated by Hazrat Aisha (RA):

“The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) did not fast in any month more than Shaban.” (Bukhari)

The Shab e Barat is the blessed night in which a Muslim can repent on the previous mistakes and sins with a true heart and receive forgiveness from Allah Almighty. Muslims can turn towards Allah Almighty and find His doors of forgiveness open for him or her in this blessed night. Therefore, every Muslim must make use of this night and repent in front of Allah Almighty so that He forgives the sins that a person committed throughout the year.

May Almighty Allah forgive our sins and give us the strength to follow the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Ameen!
